About Emerson

Emerson is a 12 year-old, social 7th grader that resides in Cumming, GA. He started racing a go-kart at the age of 5 in Portland, OR. Things got more serious after moving to Dallas/Ft. Worth at age 7, and he was able to win a national championship in Micro Swift at age 9 (Stars Championship Series) in 2023. He moved to the Atlanta area at age 10, and started racing a US Legend Car in the summer of 2025, winning three races at Echo Park Speedway in the Chargers Division before moving up to Young Lions in the fall.

Aside from racing, Emerson is a typical middle school kid who loves spending time with his friends, playing football for Liberty Middle School, and golfing.

Last Race Recap: Bandolero National Championship

We found out that there was a Legend Car race scheduled during the Bando National Championship event at EchoPark Speedway about a week before the race, and we added it to the calendar. We had no idea what to expect, as the schedule showed only one 25-lap race - not split between classes. When we got to the track, it was looking like a small turnout, but we ended up with just shy of 30 Legend Cars. The Chargers were separated in to a 15-lap race, and the other 20 that were in Pro, Semi-Pro, Masters, and Young Lions were to take the green flag together for a 20-lap feature race. Emerson qualified 3rd place behind two pros (fastest of the Young Lions), which yields a great starting position, and he was able to maintain 3rd place overall throughout a clean race out front that had two restarts. He fended off a little pressure from behind, but the race was overall pretty straight-forward.

Secured P3 after the 2nd restart and kept it through the end of the race.

Didn't quite have the pace to challenge the leaders, but we'll take P3 in this field.
